RITEK® – SUSTAINABLE ROOF AND WALL SOLUTIONS

Ritek® Building Solutions is an Australian owned company that supplies innovative structural roof and wall systems to the construction industry. We manufacture systems that provide a value added alternative to conventional construction methods.

Building Solutions Pty Ltd. (Ritek) commenced operations in Queensland in 1983 as a result of the vision of the founding director Alan Emblin, who believed that the future of the building industry was in sustainable and efficient products and systems. Alan worked in the building industry his entire career and saw that many of the practices of the building industry had not changed in centuries. As a result, many of the construction processes and systems were inefficient and resource intensive and he developed alternative processes that were much more efficient. He saw the need for products that reduced material usage, improved structural integrity and made it possible to improve techniques, and so the Ritek roof and wall systems were developed.

Ritek's eco-innovative products are ideal for remote construction and have provided innovative building systems to a number of remote building projects and infrastructure such as correctional facilities and police stations as well as remote area housing Australia-wide.

As a part of the company's ongoing research and development, work on an innovative roof panel led to the registration of a new patented system in 1993. This product particularly addresses the conventional custom orb (corrugated) roofing market with either curved or flat panels offering architects and designers a wide variety of options for commercial and domestic buildings.

Today, the Ritek® product range means that the company is in a position to offer a range of systems over most applications in the building industry which, when finished, are not only completely conventional in appearance they offer superior aesthetics and additional benefits such as speed, quality and floor space savings.
