RITEK® CUSTOM ROOF PANEL - TECHNICAL
DETAIL
The Ritek® Custom Roof Panel has
been tested for spanning capacity fixings
at the Cyclone Testing Station of the
James Cook University. The test methods
and results exceeded Australian Standards.
Cantilevers

Dependant
on the design conditions and the
panel thickness, up to half the
actual back span can be achieved.

Panel Lengths

Panel
lengths can be provided up to 14
metres.

Design Considerations
| - |
The
panels are generally supported on
timber or steel wall top plates,
intermediate beams and ridge beams.
When timber is used it is normally
chamfered to the desired roof pitch.
Circular Hollow Sections (CHS) beams
and outriggers are also used as
the roof pitch angle does not affect
the bearing of the roof onto the
circular shape of the CHS beam.
